Sorry this has taken a while to get here, but now you’re here, take a look at some of the links on the right, particularly Sheldon Brown’s website, hosted by Harris Cyclery, and Park Tools, for very useful and practical help on bike repair. Also, have a look at our Flickr page for scans of The Aussie Book of Bike Repair, published by Haynes, available at newsagents, if you want the whole thing.

Hi Mark,
I won’t be able to make it for the 5th and final session this Sunday arvo. Thanks for the confidence you’ve added to aspects of my bike handling, and also for your telling sense of humour. Best wishes,
CR

Thanks again for great course – will search out a kit of tools and try and keep things running smooth.

That’s ok, glad you enjoyed it. If you want a basic, good kit, try this one, from many different suppliers. It’s got most things that you need for day to day maintenance, apart from basic spanners. Surprisingly, Aldi sell a good kit of spanners from time to time (in stores here as well). Or any other 6-24mm set.
