When too much cycling is barely enough . . . (apol’s to Roy & HG)

Now, that was a killer stage last night – Carlos Sastre did what we thought he might and climbed away from them all up L’Alpe d’Huez, his arse covered by the terrible two – CSC’s Andy and Frank Schleck. Cadel plugged away and went with nearly everything, except Sastre. Have a look at this analysis of the stage by Velonews’reporter Neal Rogers for an explanation of what could happen in the next few days. Me, I have bags under my eyes the size of woolbales. I’m taking the day off today, as well. This post is the most energetic I’m going to get all day, I think.
